  • Be an early riser
  • Drink a glass of water when you wake
  • Pray and say positive affirmations
  • Have a plan for the day
  • Tackle your hardest daily\ weekly task first.
  • Watch something funny daily
  • Do not compare yourself to others
  • Positively interpret your negative experiences
  • Contact a love one
  • Remain grateful
  • Sleep at least 8 hours a day.

Social skills enable us communicate with one another both verbally or non- verbally. People with good social skills are great communicators; they are proficient at maintaining relationships and building networks. Examples of social skills are: – Effective communication, Active listening, Empathy, Conflict resolution etc.

Understand the person you are talking to. As faces differ, so does manner of approach and way of interaction.

You need to know how to interact with the people you come across based on their personality, temperament and cultural orientation.

One of the best ways to improve social skills is by communicating effectively. I.e. learn to listen and ask good questions, be clear and accurate in providing information.

Have good rapport with people and be the person who resolves conflicts not one who encourages it. The better your social skills the more excellent you will be at building and maintaining relationships.
